Gresham, located in Sauk County in central Wisconsin, USA, is a small, quiet village nestled along the Wisconsin River in a beautiful, forested natural setting. Situated in the western part of Penghu Islands, Taiwan Province of China, Xiyu is the second largest island in Penghu, with an area of about 16 square kilometers. It is known as Fisherman's Island in ancient times and is famous for its abundance of seafood such as seaweed and oysters. The island retains military relics of the Qing Dynasty such as the old fortress of Xiyu Xitai with a history of more than 400 years, which was listed as a national second-class monument in 1983. The local lighthouse, basalt geological landscape and intertidal zone are rich in ecological resources, which is an important part of Penghu National Scenic Area. With a resident population of about 1,500 and an economy based on fishery and tourism, it attracts many tourists every year to experience the culture and natural beauty of the island.
