Green Bay is located in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Wisconsin and is the county seat of Brown County and the third largest city in the state. Located on the western shore of Green Bay on Lake Michigan, at the mouth of the Fox River, the city is an important industrial and transportation center due to its unique natural harbor.
Founded in the mid-1700s as a fur trading post, Green Bay grew rapidly on the back of its harbor and paper industry. Today, its economy is centered on manufacturing, healthcare and logistics, with notable companies such as packaging giant Georgia-Pacific, and the city is known globally as "Titletown," home to the NFL's oldest team, the Green Bay Packers (NFL). --The city is also known globally as "Titletown," for hosting the NFL's oldest team, the Green Bay Packers.
The city is rich in cultural resources, such as Lambeau Field and its museum, the Green Bay Botanical Gardens and the National Railroad Museum. Surrounding natural landscapes include the Door County Resort and an abundance of outdoor venues with four distinct seasons, especially known for fall colors and winter sports. With its strong community spirit and sports culture, Green Bay is an important Wisconsin destination for tourism and living.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
