Gonggar County belongs to Shannan City of Tibet Autonomous Region, located in the south bank of the middle reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River, is an important transportation hub and agricultural county in Tibet. It has the first large aviation hub in Tibet, Gonggar International Airport, which bears more than 70% of the air passenger transportation in the whole region, and is an important air gateway connecting Tibet with domestic and foreign countries. Here the terrain is flat, the river valley is wide, the Yarlung Zangbo River nourishes the fertile land, produces barley, wheat and other crops, known as "Tibet granary". At the same time, Gonggar County, the natural scenery is magnificent, with a number of snow-capped mountains at an altitude of 6,000 meters above sea level, as well as the Yamdrok Yungtso, Karola Glacier and other famous attractions, a blend of Tibetan culture and plateau landscape, is a must for tourists to enter the southern part of Tibet.
Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
