Gaotai County is located in the central part of the Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province, China, under Zhangye City, in the middle reaches of the Black River oasis. The region is known for its rich history, culture and natural landscape, and was an important node on the ancient Silk Road. Gaotai has an arid continental climate with four distinct seasons, and agriculture is dominated by corn, wheat and melons.
Gaotai County is home to the Memorial Hall of the West Road Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, which has deep red tourism value. Natural landscapes include the Black River wetlands and desert landscapes, which are ecologically unique. The economy is based on agriculture, with gradual development of tourism and new energy industries. Transportation is convenient, with the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway and Lianhuo Expressway running through the whole area.
Gaotai is an ideal destination to learn about the history, ecology and culture of Northwest China, suitable for historical exploration and nature sightseeing.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
