Gao Ling District is part of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, China, located in the hinterland of Guanzhong Plain and on the north bank of the Wei River, and is one of the municipal districts of Xi'an City. The district has a long history and is an important birthplace of ancient Chinese civilization, named after the "Gao Ling Eup" established by Shang Yang during the period of Duke Xiaodong of Qin, and is rich in cultural heritage, such as the Tang Zhaohui Pagoda and the Gao Ling Museum. Economically, GaoLing is an important part of the modernized Xi'an metropolitan area, mainly in agriculture and industry, and is conveniently located near the Xi'an International Port Area, which has been developing rapidly in recent years as the core area of Xi'an's North Crossing Strategy. Gaoling is also famous for its "clear-cut" natural landscape, which attracts many tourists to explore the unique charm of the blend of nature and humanity.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
