Gao Ling District is part of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, China, located in the hinterland of Guanzhong Plain and on the north bank of the Wei River, and is one of the municipal districts of Xi'an City. The district has a long history and is an important birthplace of ancient Chinese civilization, named after the "Gao Ling Eup" established by Shang Yang during the period of Duke Xiaodong of Qin, and is rich in cultural heritage, such as the Tang Zhaohui Pagoda and the Gao Ling Museum. Economically, GaoLing is an important part of the modernized Xi'an metropolitan area, mainly in agriculture and industry, and is conveniently located near the Xi'an International Port Area, which has been developing rapidly in recent years as the core area of Xi'an's North Crossing Strategy. Gaoling is also famous for its "clear-cut" natural landscape, which attracts many tourists to explore the unique charm of the blend of nature and humanity.
Foster is a town in Providence County, Rhode Island, United States, located in the west-central part of the state. Being one of the most sparsely populated towns in Rhode Island, Foster is known for its serene countryside and natural beauty.
