Gangu County, located in the southeast of Gansu Province and under the jurisdiction of Tianshui City, is situated in the upper reaches of the Weihe River, an important post on the ancient Silk Road to Guanzhong and the western regions, and has been known as the "first county in China" (one of the origins of the county system due to the fact that Fei Zi, the ancestor of the Qin people, had his fiefdom here). With a long history and deep cultural heritage, it is an important birthplace of the Qin and Han cultures, and Jiang Wei, a famous general of the Three Kingdoms, was born here. Gangu Daxinshan Grottoes, excavated in the Northern Wei Dynasty, is a national key cultural relics protection unit, the grottoes of the Tang Dynasty Buddha statues up to 23.3 meters high, exquisite craftsmanship, known as "the first grottoes of the South of Longdong". In addition, Gangu is also the hometown of China's chili peppers, apple production base, specialty agricultural products renowned throughout the country. Nowadays, this ancient city still retains the legacy of the Silk Road, both the loess plateau of the vast and majestic, but also infiltrated with the Weihe River water of the spirit of the show, is to feel the history of the Longyuan Plain and the folklore of the perfect place.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
