Located in Laiwu District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, China, Shandong Steel City is an industrial town developed on the back of Laiwu Iron & Steel Group. As an important steel production base in Shandong Province, the regional economy of Steel City is dominated by steel smelting, machinery manufacturing and new material industries, with a well-developed industrial infrastructure and industry chain. The region has convenient transportation, adjacent to the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway and Jilai High Speed Railway, connecting to the Jinan Metropolitan Area, with significant location advantages.
In recent years, Steel City has actively promoted industrial transformation and upgrading, focusing on environmental protection and sustainable development, while retaining its rich Qilu cultural heritage.
