Gangcha: Pearl of Tibetan Region on the North Shore of Qinghai Lake

Gangcha County is located in the northeastern part of Qinghai Province, southwestern part of Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, located in the north shore of Qinghai Lake, is an important node of the Tourism Circle around Qinghai Lake. Here the average altitude of 3300 meters, with vast grasslands, blue lakes and rich wetland resources, is the "plateau sapphire" Qinghai Lake natural barrier. In summer, the grassland wildflowers everywhere, cattle and sheep into flocks, rape flower fields and the lake and mountain colors reflect each other; in winter, the frozen lake and the snowy landscape constitutes a magnificent picture scroll. As a multi-ethnic settlement, Gangcha to Tibetan culture as the core, retaining the traditional butter tea, potshuang dance and other folklore, Cangyangjiazuo cultural relics to give its deep humanistic heritage.
