Djibouti Galafi is located in the northern part of the Republic of Djibouti in Northeast Africa, on the border with Ethiopia, and is a strategic gateway connecting the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea. As a central node of Djibouti-Ethiopia cross-border cooperation, the Galafi region is an important gateway for international logistics and trade due to its unique geographical location. It has border checkpoints and infrastructure to support the transshipment of goods and movement of people, which is important for promoting regional economic integration. In addition, the terrain around Garafi is predominantly lowland and hilly, with an arid climate, but its strategic value has made it a focus of geopolitical attention, providing Djibouti with a sustained impetus for its economic development.
