Fuping County is located in the western part of Baoding City, Hebei Province, China, at the eastern foot of the Taihang Mountains, and is an important ecological barrier and old revolutionary area in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It has a total area of 2,496 square kilometers and a population of about 220,000 people. The county is dominated by mountainous and hilly terrain and is rich in natural resources, with more than 65% of the area covered by forests, and is rich in walnuts, jujubes and other agricultural products.
Fuping is the core area of the revolutionary base in the Jinchahi Border Region, with red tourism resources such as the former site of the Jinchahi Military Region Command.After realizing poverty alleviation in 2020, it is making great efforts to develop eco-tourism and specialty agriculture.
