Fuping County is located in the western part of Baoding City, Hebei Province, China, at the eastern foot of the Taihang Mountains, and is an important ecological barrier and old revolutionary area in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It has a total area of 2,496 square kilometers and a population of about 220,000 people. The county is dominated by mountainous and hilly terrain and is rich in natural resources, with more than 65% of the area covered by forests, and is rich in walnuts, jujubes and other agricultural products.
Fuping is the core area of the revolutionary base in the Jinchahi Border Region, with red tourism resources such as the former site of the Jinchahi Military Region Command.After realizing poverty alleviation in 2020, it is making great efforts to develop eco-tourism and specialty agriculture. The Tianshengqiao Waterfalls in the area is a national 4A-level scenic spot, and the average summer temperature of 21℃ makes it a summer vacation spot in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
In terms of transportation, Fuping is connected to the Baofu Expressway via Provincial Highway 382, about 150 kilometers away from Xiong'an New Area, and the opening of the Fuping Railway Station in 2023 will further enhance regional accessibility. The county is building a "Taihang Mountain Ecological and Cultural Tourism Demonstration Zone" to promote green and sustainable development.
Lianshan is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Huludao City, Liaoning Province, People's Republic of China, located in the southwestern part of Liaoning Province, at the eastern end of the Western Liaoning Corridor and bordering the Bohai Sea. The region covers a total area of about 1,658 square kilometers and has a population of about 600,000, predominantly Han Chinese, and is a multi-ethnic settlement. Lianshan District has a long history of human activity dating back to the Neolithic Age, and has risen to prominence in recent times due to industrial and harbor development. The economy is dominated by heavy industry, manufacturing and port logistics, with important facilities such as the Huludao Port, while agriculture and tourism are gradually developing. The local climate is temperate monsoon with four distinct seasons, and attractions include the Longwan waterfront and historical and cultural sites for exploring the culture and coastal scenery of western Liaoning.
