Located in the northeastern part of Fujian Province, China, Fuan is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Ningde City, situated in the coastal economic zone of eastern Fujian Province, and is famous for its tea, motor industry and natural scenery. The city has a long history and is the "Hometown of Chinese Tea", producing Tanyanggongfu black tea, which enjoys an international reputation.
Economically, Fu'an is an important base for the electrical machinery industry in eastern Fujian, with a perfect industrial chain. The transportation is convenient, with the Shenhai Expressway and Wenfu Railway running through the whole territory, connecting the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta economic zones. Rich natural landscape, including Baiyun Mountain World Geopark and Liancun Ancient Residence, attracts many tourists.
Fu'an has a deep cultural heritage, with remarkable features of the She culture, and traditional folklore and cuisine such as light cakes and flat meat are well loved. Overall, it is a livable city that blends history, industry and ecology.
It should be noted that there is no official city in Russia named "Marx". There may be some confusion about the city of Engels (Энгельс), which is located in the Saratov Oblast, on the left bank of the Volga River, across the river from Saratov, and is one of the most important industrial cities in Russia, named in honor of Engels. If the name does refer to a place name associated with Marx, there is no direct equivalent in Russia, but some streets or squares may be named after Marx, such as the former "Karl Marx Street" in Moscow (now renamed). It is recommended that specific names be verified to avoid biased information.
