Fogang County is located in the central part of Guangdong Province, southeast of Qingyuan City, adjacent to Guangzhou, in the one-hour living circle of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and is a strategic node connecting the Pearl River Delta (PRD) and the northern part of Guangdong. This piece of land has a long history, having been established since the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and formally established as a county in 1961, and still retains a strong Lingnan cultural heritage.
