Fichè, an important city in the southern part of the Oromia Region of Ethiopia, is located in the highlands at an altitude of about 2,000 meters above sea level, with a mild and pleasant climate, and is the core of local agricultural and commercial activities. As a transportation node connecting the neighboring towns, Fike is famous for the cultivation and trade of agricultural products such as coffee, wheat, and corn, with active markets and distinctive handicrafts. The city's inhabitants are mostly Oromo, and traditional festivals such as Irreecha attract people from the surrounding area, demonstrating a strong East African cultural heritage. With the gradual improvement of infrastructure in recent years, Fike has continued to grow in stature in the regional economy, and is a window into the development of rural southern Ethiopia.
Qilihe is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, China, located in the southern part of Lanzhou city center, named after the seven miles from the old city. As an important part of Lanzhou City, Qilihe District is an important transportation hub and industrial base connecting to the northwest region. The total area of the region is about 397 square kilometers, with a population of about 700,000 people.
The economy of Qilihe District is dominated by industry, with machinery manufacturing, biomedicine, new materials and other industries, while the modern service industry is developing rapidly.
