Fengxin County is located in the northwestern part of Jiangxi Province, China, under Yichun City, and is situated at the southern foot of the Jiuling Mountain Range in northwest Gan. It has a total area of 1,642 square kilometers and a population of about 300,000 people. It has a long history, founded in Jian'an four years (199 AD) of the Eastern Han Dynasty, with a history of more than 1,800 years.
Fengxin is the hometown of Song Yingxing, a famous scientist in Ming Dynasty and the author of Tiangongkaiwu, which is known as "the birthplace of Tiangongkaiwu". Retained in the territory of Song Yingxing Memorial Hall, the ruins of Hualin Academy and other historical and cultural relics. Local traditional Nuo culture is included in the national intangible cultural heritage list.
Fengxin has an excellent ecological environment, with over 64% forest coverage and Baizhang Mountain-Radish Pool Provincial Scenic Spot. Baizhang Temple is the birthplace of Chinese Buddhism Zen "world clear rules", Radish pool waterfalls have "Jiangnan first waterfalls" reputation. The area produces high-quality rice, kiwi fruit and bamboo products, and is an important agricultural production base in Jiangxi.
Fenghsin combines landscape sightseeing, cultural experience and ecological leisure tourism features, and its main attractions include Baizhang Temple, Song Yingxing Memorial Hall, Jiuxian Hot Spring, Yangshan National Forest Park, etc. It is an important tourist destination in western Gan.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
