Fengqiu County is located in the northeastern part of Henan Province, China, and is a county-level administrative district under the jurisdiction of Xinxiang City, located in the lower alluvial plain of the Yellow River, with a long history as one of the birthplaces of the Chinese civilization. With a total area of about 1,220 square kilometers and a population of about 780,000, it takes agriculture as its leading industry, producing wheat, corn and other grain crops, and is known as the "Grain Silo of Northern Henan".
The history of Fengqiu dates back to the Spring and Autumn Period, and it was called "Fengfu State" in ancient times. It has a number of cultural heritages, such as the Qingdui Ruins and the Chenqiao Stage. It is the place where the Chenqiao Mutiny took place and where Zhao Kuangyin established the Song Dynasty with his yellow robe. The area is rich in folk culture, with well-preserved traditional operas and folk arts, and is also famous for specialties such as "Fengqiu Rolled Tips".
Fengqiu has a temperate monsoon climate, flat terrain, the Yellow River running through the whole country, abundant water resources, and developed agriculture and agricultural products processing industry. In recent years, it has been actively developing light industry and tourism, focusing on promoting historical and cultural attractions and ecological agricultural tourism. Convenient transportation, adjacent to the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway and Lianhuo Expressway, gradually integrating into the development circle of the Central Plains Economic Zone.
Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger. The city is located in the lower Niger River basin around the climate of the tropical desert climate, hot and dry throughout the year, the average annual precipitation is less than 300 millimeters. The economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry, and the surrounding areas are rich in millet, sorghum and livestock.
