Funkai County is located in the western part of Guangdong Province, at the junction of Guangdong and Guangxi. It is the "Ancient County of Lingnan and the Capital of Guangfu", and an important connection point of the land and sea Silk Road. With a long history, the county was established in the sixth year of the Yuan Ding reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and was called Guangxin in ancient times. It is the birthplace of the Cantonese language and the Guangfu culture, and has many historical relics, such as Guangxin Pagoda and the ancient city wall of Fenkai.
The ecological environment of Fenkai is superior, with the Tropic of Cancer passing through the county, and the forest coverage rate reaches more than 80%, which is known as the "Emerald of the South". There are natural wonders such as Fengkai National Geopark, Daban Stone and Thousand-Layer Peak, and the Hejiang Bidao Gallery is a tourist attraction integrating ecological sightseeing, leisure and vacation.
As a bridgehead for Guangdong to dock with the southwest, Fengkai is rich in agricultural products such as oil chestnuts and oranges. Relying on ecological resources to develop green industries, Fengkai is accelerating to become the backyard of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area and a demonstration area for ecological industries.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
