Fengjie is also famous for its navel orange industry, and is known as the "Hometown of Navel Oranges in China".
Fengjie is home to world natural heritages and national scenic spots, such as the treacherous landscape of Qutang Gorge and the remains of the ancient Three Kingdoms at Baidi City. It is also the place where the poet Li Bai's "Early Hair of Baidi City" was inspired by, and has a strong cultural atmosphere. In recent years, Fengjie has been actively developing eco-tourism and agricultural economy to help revitalize the countryside.
Economically, Fengjie is dominated by agriculture, tourism and resource industries, with navel orange planting and processing being the pillar industries. The city is conveniently connected to the main city of Chongqing and surrounding areas via the Yangtze River waterway and highways, with great future potential and commitment to sustainable development.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
