Feixian County is located in the west of Linyi City, Shandong Province, China, in the hinterland of Yimeng Mountainous Region, with a total area of 1,660 square kilometers and a population of about 900,000 people. As an important part of the Linyi metropolitan area, Fei County, named after the "hometown of the Yiguo", is a key node for the westward development of Linyi City. With a temperate monsoon climate and four distinct seasons, Fei County is famous as the hometown of Chinese walnuts, chestnuts and jinxing inkstones.
The history of Fei County can be traced back to the Spring and Autumn Period, and it possesses profound humanistic deposits such as the ruins of the ancient city of Yimengguo and the culture of Yan Zhenqing. Yimeng Mountain Yinzatianmeng Tourist Area is a national 5A scenic spot, famous as the birthplace of "Yimeng Mountain Ditty". Red attractions such as the Dachingshan Victory Breakout Memorial Hall and the former site of the first branch school of the National Resistance University in Xuezhuang Town bear witness to the glorious history of the old revolutionary area of Yimeng. The traditional handicraft Feixian stone inkstone (Jinxing inkstone) is listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list.
Fei County's economy is dominated by wood furniture, new materials, medicine and food, and it is one of the largest plate production bases in China, which is known as "China's green home materials base". Modern agriculture has remarkable characteristics, with the scale of walnut, chestnut and yellow peach cultivation ranking the forefront in the country, and Feixian hawthorn has been certified as a national geographical indication. Yanzhou-Shijiang Railway and Qinglan Expressway run through the whole area, and Linyi Airport is only 50 kilometers away, forming a convenient three-dimensional transportation network.
Muleng City is a county-level city under the administration of Mudanjiang City in Heilongjiang Province. It is located in the southeast of Heilongjiang Province, at the northeastern foot of the Changbai Mountain Range, and shares a border with Russia with a length of about 40 kilometers. It has a total area of 6,237 square kilometers and a population of about 300,000 people. Muleng has a temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, with long, cold winters and mild, rainy summers.
Muleng is dominated by agriculture, forestry and mineral resources, producing crops such as soybeans and corn, and with over 70% forest coverage, it is an important timber production base in China. Mineral resources include coal, gold and marble. In recent years, Muleng has been actively developing green food processing and tourism, gradually diversifying its economic structure.
Muleng has a rich history and culture, and was once an important activity area of the Northeast Resistance League. Natural landscapes include Liufeng Mountain National Forest Park and Muleng River Wetland, which are suitable for eco-tourism and outdoor exploration. Local specialties such as wild mushrooms and northeastern farm dishes also attract many tourists.
