Feidong County, part of Hefei City, Anhui Province, China, is located in the eastern part of Hefei, the provincial capital, in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle, and is an important part of the Hefei Metropolitan Area. The county has a total area of about 2,181 square kilometers and a population of about 860,000, with agriculture, manufacturing and modern services as its economic pillars. The transportation in Feidong is convenient, with a number of arterial routes such as the Heining Expressway and the Hewu Expressway running through the whole territory, and the Hefei Xinqiao International Airport is only an hour's drive away.
Feidong is rich in history and culture, with historical sites such as the Pao Clan Ancestral Hall and the former site of the General Front Committee of the Battle of the Yangtze River in Yaogang. Rich natural landscapes, such as Daishan Lake and Fuchu Mountain, attract many tourists. Local specialties include Shitang Donkey Bar and Gonghetang Lion Head, reflecting the traditional flavor of Anhui. In recent years, Feidong has actively developed eco-tourism and rural revitalization projects, making it a popular short-haul travel destination around Hefei.
As an important industrial carrying area in Hefei, Feidong focuses on high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials and electronic information industries, and has a provincial-level economic development zone. In terms of agriculture, it focuses on rice, rapeseed and specialty aquaculture, and is a key county for grain production in Anhui Province. With the advancement of the construction of the new center in the east of Hefei, Feidong is accelerating its integration into the Yangtze River Delta integrated development with remarkable potential.
Located in the western part of Guangdong Province, Luoding is a county-level city under the administration of Yunfu City, known as the "Gateway to Western Guangdong" and the "Breadbasket of Lingnan", situated at the crossroads of Guangfu and Bagui cultures, with a long history of more than 1,400 years since it was established in the Southern Dynasty, and is one of the "Ancient Cultural Counties of Guangdong".
