Fangzheng County is located in the eastern part of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, China, under the jurisdiction of Harbin City, on the south bank of the middle reaches of the Songhua River. It has a total area of about 3,000 square kilometers and a population of about 200,000 people. It has a typical cold-temperate continental monsoon climate, with four distinct seasons and long, cold winters.
