Located on the southwest coast of Pingtung County, Pingtung, Taiwan, Fangliao, with the Central Mountain Range to the east and the Taiwan Strait to the west, is a typical coastal township famous for its fishery, agriculture and natural landscape. The local Fangliao Fishing Harbor is an important fishing base, and the scene of fishing boats returning to port in the early morning is full of life; surrounded by natural barriers such as the Dawu Mountain, which nurtures a rich ecosystem and is suitable for bird-watching and coastal cycling. Culturally, the area is a blend of Minnan and Hakka flavors, with traditional festivals such as the Fangliao Mama Festival showcasing local folklore. Although it is not a popular tourist destination, it is an ideal place to experience rural life in southern Taiwan because of its tranquil atmosphere and original flavor, and is also a front stop for exploring the Hengchun Peninsula.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
