Fangcheng County is located in the southwestern part of Henan Province, under the jurisdiction of Nanyang City, situated in the transition zone between the southern foothills of the Fuyao Mountains and the Yellow-Huaihai Plain, and has been a major transportation hub for the north and the south since ancient times, with a strong grip on the linchpin of Qin and Chu, and a fence controlling the Wanluo area.
