Fanchang County is located in the southeastern part of Anhui Province, under the jurisdiction of Wuhu City, on the south bank of the Yangtze River, in the transition zone between the hills of southern Anhui Province and the plains along the river, and has been the key place of "Wu Tou Chu Tail" since ancient times, with a history of more than 1,800 years since the county was founded. Within the territory of the "human character hole" ancient human ruins about 2-2 million years ago, is one of the earliest human activities in Eurasia, known as "the origin of human beings in southern Anhui". Historically, Fanchang Kiln was one of the six famous kilns of blue and white porcelain in the Song Dynasty, and its blue and white porcelain technique of "white as jade, bright as a mirror" has been inherited to this day. Nowadays, with the cultural and tourism resources such as Maren Qifeng, Digang Ancient Town and Fanchang Kiln Ruins Park, and 48% forest coverage, it is an ecological green tourism destination in the Yangtze River Delta. As an important node of the demonstration zone for industrial transfer in the Wanjiang City Belt, Fanchang is promoting the integration of culture and tourism and the development of new industries under the strategy of "industry-strengthening area and ecological beauty county", and the thousand-year-old county has been revitalized.
