Faetano is one of the nine municipalities of San Marino, located in the south-central part of the country, near the Italian border. As one of the larger municipalities in San Marino (about 7.75 square kilometers), Faetano is known for its peaceful countryside and rolling hills, and its local economy is based on agriculture, handicrafts and small-scale manufacturing, preserving the flavor of a traditional medieval town. With its historic church and bell tower, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, the town is an ideal destination to experience San Marino's native culture. Despite its small population (around 12,000), Fiorentano is an important stop for tourists exploring the interior of San Marino, thanks to its unique location and natural beauty.
Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. It is known for its coffee farming, surrounded by terraced fields that produce Timor-Leste's premium Arabica coffee beans. Historically, Samu was an important stronghold during Timor-Leste's War of Independence, and remnants of the resistance movement still remain in the area, attracting history buffs to explore. The surrounding area is rich in natural beauty and close to Mount Ramelau, Timor-Leste's highest peak, making it a stopover for hiking enthusiasts. A blend of traditional Timacu culture and modern townscape, Samu offers a unique look at the interior of Timor-Leste.
