Erlun Township is located in the central part of Yunlin County, Taiwan Province of China, neighboring Dabi Township in the west, Douliu City in the north, Gukeng Township and Linnai Township in the east, and Lunbei Township in the south, situated in the junction of the Ji'anan Plain and the hilly area, with a flat and open topography, and a warm and humid climate. Agriculture is based on rice, vegetable and fruit cultivation, of which "Erlun Rice" is famous for its excellent quality and is an important local agricultural product. The township retains the traditional cultural characteristics of Southern Fujian, with temples such as Erlun Fuzi Palace having a long history and traditional temple festivals held every year in the Lunar New Year. In recent years, Erlun Township has been actively promoting leisure agriculture and eco-tourism, combining idyllic scenery with local industries, and has become one of the representative agricultural townships in Yunlin County, showcasing the simplicity and vitality of Taiwan's countryside.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
