Enriquillo is an important city located in the southwestern part of the Dominican Republic and is the capital of the province of Bahoruco. The city is named after the neighboring Lago Enriquillo, the largest lake in the Caribbean and one of the lowest in the world.
Enriquillo is located in an arid basin surrounded by a unique semi-desert landscape. As a national park and biosphere reserve, Lake Enriquillo inhabits rare wildlife such as American crocodiles and flamingos, making it a popular destination for eco-tourism.

Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
