Echeng is the main city of Ezhou, Hubei Province, China, located on the south bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, and is an important part of the Wuhan City Circle. The area has a long history, having been the capital of the Wu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period, and boasts a rich cultural heritage such as the Xishan Scenic Area and the Guanyin Pavilion. As the transportation hub of East Hubei, E-cheng's economy is dominated by modern manufacturing, logistics and tourism, which has developed rapidly in recent years.
