Ebian Yi Autonomous County, belonging to Leshan City, Sichuan Province, is located in the transition zone between the Sichuan Basin and the Yunnan-Gui Plateau, the middle and lower reaches of the Dadu River, and is an area inhabited by the Yi ethnic minority.
