East Greenwich is located in Kent County, Rhode Island, USA, and is an integral part of the Providence metropolitan area, bordering Narragansett Bay. One of the oldest towns in the state, East Greenwich was founded in 1677 and still retains a rich heritage of colonial architecture and culture, with its historic downtown district listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Conveniently connected to Providence and Boston via Interstate 95, it also boasts excellent educational resources and a pleasant waterfront setting that has attracted many families and professionals to settle here. Economically, in addition to local businesses, some residents commute to nearby financial and technology companies for employment, making the town one of Rhode Island's favorite livable communities for its combination of quiet living and urban convenience.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
