Chichén Itzá is one of the best-preserved archaeological sites of the Mayan civilization in the Mexican state of Yucatán, about 120 kilometers from the city of Mérida, and is known as one of the "Seven Wonders of the New World". The site also includes a large stadium, a warrior temple, a group of a thousand pillars, etc. Its precise architectural layout and the art of relief sculpture, allowing visitors to glimpse the splendor of the Mayan civilization, which was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988, and is one of the most representative cultural symbols of Mexico.
Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger. The city is located in the lower Niger River basin around the climate of the tropical desert climate, hot and dry throughout the year, the average annual precipitation is less than 300 millimeters. The economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry, and the surrounding areas are rich in millet, sorghum and livestock.
