Located in Towner County, North Dakota, United States, Dresden is a small community with a focus on agriculture. Located in the Plains region of the north-central part of the state, the surrounding expansive farmland is the main landscape, and economic activity centers on wheat, soybean, and other crops, as well as animal husbandry. The climate is temperate continental, with long, cold winters and short, warm summers, and the area is sparsely populated, maintaining a typically rural and tranquil atmosphere. Despite its small size, Dresden carries the history of the local agricultural culture, and with a close-knit community life and residents mostly engaged in land-related industries, it is representative of one of the many small agricultural towns in North Dakota.
Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy.
