Located in Yunlin County, Taiwan Province of China, Douliu City is the county seat and political, economic and cultural center of the county. The city is located in the northern part of the Jia Nan Plain and has a subtropical monsoon climate with mild and pleasant seasons. Douliu is famous for its agriculture, producing pomelo, willow and rice, and is known as the "Agricultural Capital".
Douliu is rich in history and culture, with attractions such as Taiping Old Street, Xingqi Memorial Hall and Yunlin University of Science and Technology. Local delicacies, such as Douliu Yuanzai Ice, Bowls of Kuey Teow and Pork Dumplings, are popular among tourists. In recent years, Douliu has been actively promoting tourism and agriculture, combining traditional and modern features to become a livable city in central Taiwan.
Qin County is part of Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, China, located in the hinterland of the Loess Plateau in Southeast Jin, with a total area of about 1,315 square kilometers. Because of its geographical characteristics of being surrounded by mountains on all sides and a basin in the center, it is known as the "Little Jiangnan of Taihang".
The history of Qinxian can be traced back to the Spring and Autumn Period, and it is one of the important birthplaces of Jin culture. During the Anti-Japanese War, it was an important base for the Eighth Route Army, leaving a large number of red relics. The local heritage of intangible cultural heritage, such as Jin Opera and paper-cutting, is passed down, and the folk customs are simple and generous.
With agriculture as the leading industry, it is a national commodity grain base county, and Qinzhou yellow millet is a geographical indication product. In recent years, the tourism industry has been gradually developed, relying on the Zhanghe River Wetland, West Lake Reservoir and other ecological resources to create a leisure and vacation destination.
There are cultural relics protection units such as Nanneshui stone carvings and the former site of αmu Association in the territory. The traditional temple fair held on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month every year integrates folklore exhibitions and trade activities, and is an important window for experiencing the humanistic flavor of Southeast Jin.
