Located in Yunlin County, Taiwan Province of China, Douliu City is the county seat and political, economic and cultural center of the county. The city is located in the northern part of the Jia Nan Plain and has a subtropical monsoon climate with mild and pleasant seasons. Douliu is famous for its agriculture, producing pomelo, willow and rice, and is known as the "Agricultural Capital".
Douliu is rich in history and culture, with attractions such as Taiping Old Street, Xingqi Memorial Hall and Yunlin University of Science and Technology. Local delicacies, such as Douliu Yuanzai Ice, Bowls of Kuey Teow and Pork Dumplings, are popular among tourists. In recent years, Douliu has been actively promoting tourism and agriculture, combining traditional and modern features to become a livable city in central Taiwan.
Dangxiong is located in the central part of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, under the jurisdiction of Lhasa, with an average altitude of about 4,300 meters, making it an important gateway to the northern Tibetan plateau. It is located along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway (National Highway G109), about 170 kilometers away from Lhasa City, with convenient transportation.
Dangxiong has the Namucuo National Nature Reserve, the core of which is Namucuo Lake, the world's highest large lake (4,718 meters), known as the "Lake of Heaven". The main peak of Nianqing Tanggula Mountain Range (7162 meters) stands in the territory, forming a "sacred mountains and sacred lakes" of the magnificent landscape. The local distribution of typical plateau meadow ecosystem, is an important pasture for yaks and Tibetan sheep.
Dangxiong County has a predominantly Tibetan population, preserving traditional nomadic culture and folk activities such as horse racing festivals. The economy is dominated by animal husbandry, with the development of geothermal resources and mineral water gradually emerging, and the Dangxiong Station of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway further promoting regional economic development. It attracts a large number of tourists to Namucuo scenic spot every year, and is an important node of the Tibet tourism loop.
