Located in the southeastern part of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu Province, China, Dianbu County is situated at the junction of the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and the western end of the Qinling Mountains, with an average elevation of about 2,400 meters above sea level. Zhouning County, belonging to Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located at the eastern foot of the Vulture Peak Mountain Range in eastern Fujian Province, known as the "natural air-conditioned city", and is one of the counties with the highest altitude in Fujian Province.
