Deva is the capital of Hunedoara County in western Romania, located on the banks of the river Mureş, with a population of about 60,000 people. The city is famous for the hilltop Deva Castle, a 13th-century fortress perched on a volcanic cone that offers panoramic views and symbolizes the history of the region. The economy of Dva is based on industry and services, and it is also a transportation hub, connecting it to the Carpathian region.
Dva has a long history, first recorded in 1269, and was once a fortress of the Kingdom of Hungary. The city retains medieval buildings such as the castle and the Church of the Holy Cross. Zhangping is located in the southwestern part of Fujian Province, China, under Longyan City, in the transition zone between the mountainous areas of western Fujian and the coast, and in the upper reaches of the northern stream of the Jiulong River. The city has a total area of about 2,975 square kilometers and a population of about 280,000, mainly Han Chinese, with the Hakka and Minnan cultures intermingling. Zhangping is famous for "the hometown of flowers and trees in China" and "the hometown of famous tea in China", and produces specialties such as Zhangping daffodil tea and azaleas, as well as rich resources for agriculture and eco-tourism.
Zhangping has a subtropical monsoon climate, with over 70% forest coverage and natural landscapes such as the Jiulongjiang National Wetland Park. Historically, Zhangping was an important node of Hakka migration, preserving cultural heritage such as earth buildings and ancient villages. The economy is dominated by agriculture, forestry and tourism, with Zhangping Daffodil Tea certified as a National Geographical Indication, a well-developed flower industry and one of the ecological demonstration counties and cities in Fujian Province.
Zhangping has convenient transportation, Yingxia Railway, Putongyang Expressway runs through the whole territory, connecting Xiamen, Longyan and other cities. In recent years, relying on green industry and rural tourism, the economy has been developing steadily, and it is an important ecological livable city in western Fujian.
