The county was established in the Han Dynasty and has a history of more than 2,000 years since then. Famous historical figures such as Yang Shengli and Yang Shen (Yang Shengan) are all from here. The Baoguang Temple, a national key cultural relics protection unit, was built in the Tang Dynasty and is the holy place of Zen Buddhism in Sichuan Province; the Guihu Park in the Ming Dynasty was famous for its "four seasons of osmanthus fragrance", and the scenery of the lake and the mountains is a perfect match for the ancient buildings. As an important part of the Chengdu Metropolitan Area, Xindu has retained the fireworks of "old Chengdu" while integrating into modern urban development, making it an attractive urban area that combines history, humanities, natural ecology and modern industry.
