Deva is the capital of Hunedoara County in western Romania, located on the banks of the river Mureş, with a population of about 60,000 people. Sanwan Township, located in the northern part of Miaoli County, Taiwan, is a hilly area township with a predominantly Hakka culture. The township covers an area of about 52 square kilometers and has a population of about 6,000. The township is named after the Zhonggang Creek, which forms three large bends here. The township produces high-quality Oriental Beauty Tea (Puffy Wind Tea) and highly-grafted pears, and agriculture is the main economic industry. Sanwan Township is connected to Hsinchu County in the north and Shihtan Township in the south, with Taiwan Highway No. 3 running through the entire country and about 15 minutes' drive from the Toufen Interchange, making it an important gateway to the Nanzhuang Scenic Area. The township maintains a complete Hakka settlement pattern, with traditional courtyard buildings and terraced rice fields forming a unique rural landscape.
