Located in the southwest of Henan Province, China, Dengzhou is a county-level city under the administration of Nanyang City and is situated in the junction area of Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Shanxi, which is known as "the majestic gateway of the three provinces". The city has a long history and is one of the important birthplaces of the Central Plains culture, with over 5,000 years of civilization.
