Located in the northeastern part of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan Province of China, Dashu District is situated in the western foothills of the Central Mountain Range, and is a typical mountainous administrative area, neighboring Kaohsiung Taoyuan District in the east, connecting with Dacheng and Renwu Districts in the west, and connecting with Dashu and Dacheng Districts in the south, and adjoining Meinong District in the north, with a total area of about 78.73 square kilometers. Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger. The city is located in the lower Niger River basin around the climate of the tropical desert climate, hot and dry throughout the year, the average annual precipitation is less than 300 millimeters.
