Darren is located in the southernmost part of Taitung County, Taiwan Province of China, and is an important settlement of the Paiwan aborigines. The township is bordered by the Pacific Ocean in the east and the Central Mountain Range in the west, and is rich in natural ecological resources, including such well-known attractions as the Tusanoyo River and the Alangyi Ancient Trail. Agriculture and tourism are the main industries in the area, with crops such as sakka and millet in abundance, and the annual Paiwan Fung Nian Festival is an important cultural event. Transportation in Darren Township is mainly by road, and it can be connected to Taitung City and Pingtung County via the Taiwan 9 Nanhui Highway, making it a distinctive area for experiencing Taiwan's aboriginal culture and mountain and sea landscapes.
Muleng City is a county-level city under the administration of Mudanjiang City in Heilongjiang Province. It is located in the southeast of Heilongjiang Province, at the northeastern foot of the Changbai Mountain Range, and shares a border with Russia with a length of about 40 kilometers. It has a total area of 6,237 square kilometers and a population of about 300,000 people. Muleng has a temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, with long, cold winters and mild, rainy summers.

Local specialties such as wild mushrooms and northeastern farm dishes also attract many tourists.
