Daoli District is a core municipal district of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, China, located on the south bank of the Songhua River, and is the political, economic and cultural center area of Harbin. With a total area of about 479 square kilometers and a population of about 900,000, the district is known for its rich European architectural style, ice and snow culture and historical sites.
Famous attractions include Central Avenue (Russian-style pedestrian street), St. Sophia's Church, the Flood Control Memorial Tower and the landscape strip along the Songhua River. With convenient transportation and hubs such as Harbin Station, Daoli District is a well-developed commercial area with a number of large shopping centers and traditional markets. As one of the main venues of the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival, it attracts a large number of tourists every year to experience tourism with northern characteristics.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
