Dantu is located in Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, China and is an important part of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone. The region has a long history, dating back to the Qin Dynasty period, and was once one of the birthplaces of the ancient Wu culture. With a total area of about 611 square kilometers and a population of about 300,000, Dantu District has agriculture, manufacturing and tourism as its economic pillars. It is strategically located near Nanjing and Shanghai, with convenient transportation, and a number of trunk lines such as the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway and the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway running through the whole area.
Dantu has a rich cultural heritage, such as Dantu Ancient City Ruins and Nanshan Scenic Area, which blends natural landscape and humanistic history. The local area is known for its traditional Jiangnan water town style, which attracts a large number of tourists every year. Economically, Dantu is actively developing green industries and high technology to help the region's sustainable development, while retaining simple folk customs and local specialties, such as Zhenjiang balsamic vinegar and river food dishes.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
