Danfeng County is located in the southeastern part of Shaanxi Province in China, belonging to Shangluo City, and is situated at the southern foot of the eastern part of the Qinling Mountains, which is a predominantly mountainous county-level administrative region. Danfeng, named after the "Dan River" and "Fengguan Mountain", has a long history and was a major transportation route between Qin and Chu in ancient times and a fiefdom of Shang Yang. It has a warm-temperate climate with four distinct seasons and rich natural resources, producing walnuts, tea and Chinese herbs.
Danfeng has a rich cultural heritage, such as the Boat Guild Hall, Danjiang River Rafting and Wuguan Ruins, and is an important node for tourism in southern Shaanxi. The hometown of famous writer Jia Pingwa is also located here, adding to the cultural heritage. The economy is based on agriculture and tourism, with ecotourism and red tourism developing rapidly in recent years, attracting large numbers of tourists to experience the natural scenery and historical atmosphere.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
