Danba County is located in the eastern part of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China, on the southeastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, and is the first city on the Dadu River. With an average altitude of about 2,000 meters, it attracts global travelers with its rich natural landscape and deep cultural heritage.
Danba is the core settlement area of the Jiajung Tibetan people, famous for "Danba beauty" and ancient towers. Existing ancient towers 562, history can be traced back to more than a thousand years, known as the "Oriental Pyramid". The Jieju Tibetan Village (selected as "China's Most Beautiful Countryside" in 2005) and the Zhonglu Tibetan Village show a unique fusion of Tibetan architectural art and farming civilization.
There are natural bonsai in Yak Valley, Murdoch Mountain (one of the four sacred mountains in Tibet), and ancient watchtower groups in Suopo. The four seasons are distinctive, with pear blossoms like snow in spring and colorful forests in autumn, which is known as "Photographer's Paradise".
The best time to visit is April-May (pear blossom season) and September-October (autumn color season). It takes about 6 hours to drive from Chengdu to Danba, where you can experience Tibetan lodging, watch potshuang dance, taste ghee tea and yak meat, and other special cultural programs.
Cape Kulusuk is a small settlement on the east coast of Greenland, part of the Municipality of Semeysok, located at 65°34′ N, 37°06′ W, adjacent to the confluence of the North Atlantic Ocean and the Greenland Sea. It is known for its polar tundra landscape and ice fjord formations, and has a frigid tundra climate with long, cold winters and short, cool summers. The population of less than 300, mainly Inuit, retains a blend of traditional hunting culture and modern life. Cape Kulusuk Airport is an important transportation hub in eastern Greenland, connecting the capital city of Nuuk with Iceland, and is often seen as a gateway to the pristine landscapes of the Arctic Circle, where visitors can experience dog sledding, aurora borealis spotting, and Inuit handicrafts in all their pure polar splendor.
