Dalat Banner is located in the north of Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, on the south bank of the Yellow River, in the core area of Hubao-Eqiu urban agglomeration. With a total area of about 8,200 square kilometers and a population of about 360,000, it is a multi-ethnic settlement area with Mongolian as the main ethnic group and Han Chinese as the majority.
