Dalanzadgad is the capital city of the South Gobi Province of Mongolia, located about 550 kilometers south of the capital city of Ulaanbaatar. Nestled in the Gobi Desert region, the city has a population of about 20,000 and is the administrative, economic and transportation center of the region. The climate is arid, with hot summers and cold winters, and is known for its typical desert landscape.
Dharamzadagad is surrounded by unique natural landscapes, including the Gobi Desert, sand dunes and mountains. Nearby are the famous Hungaroring Els sand dunes and the Bayanzag dinosaur fossil site, which attract many explorers and paleontology enthusiasts. The region also contains mineral resources such as coal and copper, which support the local economy.
The economy is dominated by mining, animal husbandry and tourism. Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
