Dahua Yao Autonomous County is located in the north central part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, in the middle reaches of Hongshui River. It is a Yao Autonomous County under the jurisdiction of Hechi City, and is known as "the hometown of Chinese ornamental stones". Karst landforms are widely spread in the territory, and the 100-mile gallery of Hongshui River winds through, with strange peaks pinching the bank and blue water like a mirror, forming a stunning landscape of "mountains like Wushan Gorge and water like Lijiang River", which is a tourist attraction for photography and ecological tourism. As a place where Yao people live, Dahua retains a strong ethnic flavor, with unique folk culture such as Yao costumes, copper drum dance and Panwang Festival, and traditional handicrafts such as Yao embroidery and silver jewelry making skills inherited to this day. Relying on hydropower resources and ecological advantages, the local area is gradually developing into a characteristic county integrating nature sightseeing and ethnic culture experience, attracting tourists from all over the world to explore the secret land of the Yao people on the banks of the Hongshui River.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
