Dadukou District is located in the southwest of the main city of Chongqing, China, on the south bank of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, and is an important part of the central city of Chongqing, named after the ancient Yidu ferry "Dadukou". It was once an industrial town in Southwest China, carrying the memory of industrial civilization represented by Heavy Steel, and is now transforming from an "industrial rust belt" to a "life show belt". There are cultural and tourism landmarks such as Yidu Ancient Town, Chongqing Section of the Long March National Cultural Park, and Industrial Culture Expo Park in the area, integrating Bayu folklore and modern art. In recent years, Dadukou has focused on ecological livability and industrial upgrading, creating new growth poles such as cultural and tourism fusion and digital economy, and is an emerging urban area with both historical heritage and vitality in the construction of Chongqing's "City of Landscapes and Beautiful Places".
Located in the northwestern part of the island of Antigua in Antigua and Barbuda, Codrington is an important historical town and cultural landmark in the country. Named after Christopher Codrington, a 17th-century English plantation owner, the town was once one of the centers of the Caribbean sugar trade, and still retains colonial stone buildings, windmill ruins, and the remains of the old wharf, which bear witness to the changing history of the Caribbean Sea. Nestled in the mountains, the town boasts a tranquil bay with a charming Caribbean flavor that attracts history buffs and tourists alike to explore each year. Codrington is also an important part of the Antigua Cultural Festival, where local residents showcase their unique culture through traditional music, dance and crafts, making it an excellent window into the history and culture of Antigua and Barbuda.
